Rules for safe, respectful, lawful and trustworthy use of Twimzi listings, posts, offers and community interactions.

Twimzi Community Guidelines

1. Purpose

Twimzi is a local-business discovery, communication, community, and marketplace platform operated by Fateh Globalink.

These Community Guidelines are intended to keep business listings, posts, offers, messages, comments, media, and other user interactions useful, lawful, respectful, safe, and trustworthy.

These Guidelines supplement the Twimzi Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, User Content Policy, Messaging & Communication Policy, Business Terms, and other applicable Platform policies.

2. Who these Guidelines apply to

These Guidelines apply to customers, businesses, professionals, service providers, vendors, representatives, and other authorised users who create, upload, publish, transmit, communicate, or interact with content or other users on Twimzi.

Twimzi's standard account age requirement is 18 years, subject to applicable law and feature-specific requirements.

3. Expected behaviour

Users are expected to:

  • provide accurate, relevant, and lawful information;
  • use genuine identities and business information where applicable;
  • communicate respectfully and professionally;
  • respect privacy and personal-data rights;
  • respect intellectual-property and other legal rights;
  • use Twimzi for legitimate discovery, business, communication, and Platform purposes;
  • follow applicable laws and Platform policies;
  • use reporting and safety tools responsibly; and
  • cooperate reasonably with legitimate safety, verification, and compliance processes.
  • 4. Prohibited content and conduct

    Users must not use Twimzi to publish, transmit, promote, request, facilitate, or distribute content or conduct that is unlawful or harmful, including:

  • fraud, scams, phishing, financial deception, or fraudulent business activity;
  • threats, intimidation, harassment, stalking, or targeted abuse;
  • hate or discriminatory attacks against protected persons or groups;
  • sexual exploitation or content involving minors;
  • non-consensual intimate or sexual content;
  • content that unlawfully exposes, exploits, or solicits another person's private or sensitive information;
  • impersonation or deceptive identity claims;
  • malware, malicious code, harmful files, or links designed to compromise devices or accounts;
  • instructions or activity intended to obtain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or data;
  • counterfeit, stolen, illegally obtained, or otherwise prohibited goods or services;
  • unlawful regulated goods or services;
  • knowingly false or materially misleading business claims;
  • content that infringes copyright, trademark, trade-secret, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • content designed primarily to facilitate unlawful activity;
  • coordinated manipulation of Platform systems, reputation, engagement, visibility, or search results; or
  • attempts to evade Twimzi's safety or enforcement systems.
  • Twimzi may restrict content or activity that presents a material safety, fraud, security, legal, or Platform-integrity risk even where the content is not specifically listed above.

    5. Spam and unwanted communication

    Users must not send bulk, repetitive, automated, deceptive, or unsolicited messages or promotional material that materially interferes with another user's experience or violates applicable law.

    Users must not use Twimzi to harvest contact information for unsolicited marketing, create messaging campaigns through unauthorised automation, or repeatedly contact users after a reasonable indication that further communication is unwanted.

    Messaging must comply with the Twimzi Messaging & Communication Policy.

    6. Messaging boundaries

    Twimzi supports communication between:

  • customers and businesses;
  • businesses and customers; and
  • businesses and businesses.
  • Customer-to-customer direct messaging is not an intended Twimzi feature and must not be used to bypass Platform controls.

    Users must not use messaging to threaten, harass, scam, impersonate, phish, distribute malware, solicit sensitive credentials, or conduct unlawful activity.

    7. Business listings and offers

    Businesses are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of their:

  • business profiles;
  • products;
  • services;
  • offers;
  • contact information;
  • prices and commercial claims;
  • operating information;
  • qualifications and professional claims; and
  • licences, registrations, permits, and approvals where applicable.
  • Businesses must not advertise prohibited goods or services, make deceptive claims, falsely represent availability or pricing, impersonate another business, or misuse another person's or business's intellectual property.

    Twimzi may request verification information and may restrict, remove, or reduce the visibility of information that appears inaccurate, unlawful, misleading, unsafe, or inconsistent with Platform requirements.

    8. User-generated content

    User-generated content may include posts, photographs, videos, descriptions, comments, offers, business information, documents, and other material submitted through Twimzi.

    Users are responsible for ensuring that their content:

  • is lawful;
  • does not knowingly contain materially false or deceptive claims;
  • does not infringe another person's rights;
  • does not unlawfully disclose personal information;
  • does not contain malicious code or harmful material; and
  • complies with the Terms of Service and applicable Platform policies.
  • Users should publish only content they have the right or lawful authority to submit.

    Twimzi may review, restrict, remove, disable access to, or preserve content where permitted or required by law or under its Platform policies.

    9. Reviews, reputation and engagement integrity

    Users must not manipulate business reputation or Platform engagement through:

  • fake accounts;
  • fake reviews;
  • reviews about transactions or experiences that did not occur;
  • self-reviews or reviews submitted on behalf of a business without appropriate disclosure;
  • coordinated review manipulation;
  • paid or incentivised activity designed to create a misleading impression;
  • bots or automated engagement;
  • fabricated followers, interactions, enquiries, or other metrics;
  • review bombing or retaliatory review campaigns; or
  • other deceptive attempts to influence rankings, visibility, reputation, or discovery.
  • Twimzi may remove or restrict manipulated content and may take action against accounts involved in such activity.

    10. Privacy and personal information

    Users must respect the privacy of other people.

    Users must not publish, request, collect, sell, or distribute another person's sensitive personal information through Twimzi without a lawful basis or appropriate authorisation.

    Do not publicly post passwords, authentication codes, financial credentials, identity documents, private addresses, or other sensitive information unless there is a legitimate and lawful reason and the Platform specifically supports the relevant use.

    Business users are responsible for ensuring that personal data they upload or share with Twimzi has been collected and disclosed lawfully.

    11. Intellectual property

    Users must respect copyright, trademarks, trade names, designs, photographs, videos, written material, software, and other intellectual-property rights.

    Users must not upload or use material belonging to another person or business without the required permission, licence, or other lawful basis.

    Twimzi may respond to valid intellectual-property complaints and may remove or restrict allegedly infringing content in accordance with applicable law and Platform procedures.

    12. Fraud and safety

    Users should exercise appropriate caution when communicating or conducting transactions with other users.

    Do not share passwords, one-time passwords, payment credentials, security codes, or other authentication information with another user.

    Users should independently verify business identity, licensing, product details, payment instructions, delivery arrangements, and other important information before entering a transaction or providing sensitive information.

    Suspicious accounts, scams, fraudulent offers, impersonation, or other serious safety concerns should be reported through the available Twimzi reporting or support mechanism.

    13. Reporting violations

    Users may report suspected:

  • fraud or scams;
  • harassment or threats;
  • impersonation;
  • illegal or prohibited content;
  • privacy violations;
  • intellectual-property violations;
  • spam or abusive messaging;
  • fake or manipulated reviews;
  • unsafe business activity; or
  • other serious violations of these Guidelines.
  • Reports should contain enough information for Twimzi to understand and investigate the concern.

    Reporting tools must not be used to harass, threaten, silence, or knowingly make false allegations against another user.

    14. Moderation and enforcement

    Twimzi may use automated systems, human review, user reports, business verification, security systems, and other measures to identify and address violations.

    Depending on the circumstances, Twimzi may:

  • issue a warning;
  • request additional information or verification;
  • remove or restrict content;
  • reduce content visibility or distribution;
  • limit messaging or other Platform functionality;
  • suspend particular features;
  • restrict search or discovery visibility;
  • suspend an account;
  • terminate an account;
  • preserve information where legally permitted or required;
  • cooperate with lawful requests from authorities; or
  • take other measures permitted by law and the Terms of Service.
  • Enforcement may consider the seriousness, frequency, impact, intent, and history of the conduct, as well as applicable legal requirements.

    Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent account restrictions.

    15. Appeals and review

    Where Twimzi provides an appeal, review, or support mechanism for an enforcement action, users may use the applicable mechanism and provide relevant information.

    Twimzi may maintain records of reports, enforcement actions, appeals, and related information for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and Platform integrity, subject to applicable law.

    16. Legal compliance

    Twimzi may take action in response to valid legal requests, court orders, governmental directions, regulatory requirements, or other obligations applicable to the Platform.

    Nothing in these Guidelines limits Twimzi's obligations under applicable law or removes a mandatory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited.

    17. Platform integrity

    Users must not:

  • bypass access controls or technical restrictions;
  • interfere with Platform operation;
  • overload or disrupt Platform infrastructure;
  • use unauthorised bots or automated systems;
  • scrape or harvest Platform data in violation of applicable law or Platform restrictions;
  • attempt to manipulate search, recommendations, rankings, visibility, or engagement;
  • create duplicate or deceptive accounts to evade restrictions;
  • circumvent rate limits or security controls; or
  • assist another person in violating these Guidelines.
  • 18. External links and third-party content

    Users may encounter links, services, businesses, advertisements, or content provided by third parties.

    Users should exercise appropriate caution before opening links, downloading files, providing credentials, or entering transactions.

    Twimzi may restrict malicious, deceptive, unsafe, or prohibited links and content.

    19. Children and vulnerable users

    Twimzi's standard account age is 18 years.

    Users must not use Twimzi to exploit, sexually exploit, groom, threaten, or otherwise harm minors or other vulnerable persons.

    Where Twimzi becomes aware of activity involving potential child exploitation or other serious safety risks, it may take immediate protective measures and make disclosures where required or permitted by law.

    20. Changes to these Guidelines

    Twimzi may update these Guidelines when Platform features, community risks, legal requirements, or safety practices change.

    Where appropriate, material changes may be communicated through the Platform.

    The current published version applies from its stated effective date.

    21. Relationship with other Platform policies

    These Guidelines should be read together with the:

  • Twimzi Terms of Service;
  • Privacy Policy;
  • Acceptable Use Policy;
  • Business Terms;
  • Marketplace & Listing Policy;
  • User Content Policy;
  • Intellectual Property Policy;
  • Messaging & Communication Policy;
  • Data Deletion & Retention Policy;
  • Grievance Redressal Policy;
  • Cookie Policy;
  • Refund & Cancellation Policy;
  • Shipping & Delivery Policy; and
  • Platform Disclaimer.
  • If another Platform policy imposes a more specific requirement for a particular feature or activity, that specific requirement may also apply.

    23. Effective Publication

    These Community Guidelines are published as **Version 1.1**.

    These Guidelines form part of the Twimzi Platform rules and apply to use of community, content, communication, business, and discovery features subject to applicable law.
